PortPro Pricing Guide

PortPro Pricing: What It Actually Costs in 2026

PortPro does not publish numeric pricing anywhere on its own website. As of August 17, 2026, we directly checked portpro.io, its drayage-carrier and drayage-broker solution pages, and its Profit Tools comparison page — every one of them routes visitors to “Schedule a Demo” or “Calculate My Savings” instead of listing a rate. Third-party software-listing sites confirm PortPro sells six quote-only tiers (three each for carriers and brokers), but none of them disclose a dollar figure either. If you've seen a specific number quoted as “PortPro pricing” anywhere online, it wasn't sourced from PortPro or from any of the listing sites covered below. This guide gives you what's actually verifiable, a cost worksheet, and the questions to bring to a sales call.

Primary Sources

What PortPro Actually Discloses

We checked four PortPro-owned pages directly on August 17, 2026. None of them list a dollar amount, a per-driver rate, or a starting price:

  • portpro.io — no pricing anywhere on the homepage; calls to action are “Schedule a Demo” and a “Calculate My Savings” tool, not a rate card.
  • portpro.io/solutions/drayage-carrier — describes the carrier product (an AI dispatcher it calls “Jerry,” an AI biller it calls “Helen,” automated terminal-data pulls, and appointment booking), targeted at carriers running 5–20 trucks, with a self-reported claim of a 25%+ cash-flow increase. No pricing.
  • portpro.io/solutions/drayage-broker — the broker-facing equivalent, covering carrier network access, customer visibility, and automated invoicing. No pricing.
  • portpro.io/product-compare/profit-tools-vs-portpro — PortPro's own comparison against Profit Tools/CargoWise Landside. It makes several self-serving claims worth flagging as PortPro's marketing about itself, not independently verified facts: EDI/API setup in roughly six weeks with a dedicated data expert (versus a multi-month timeline it attributes to Profit Tools), free 24/7 support (versus per-inquiry charges it attributes to Profit Tools), and “2x volume without increasing headcount (with AI).” No pricing for either product.

In short: the currently-supported baseline is that PortPro's official pricing is not publicly posted, full stop. Everything past this point is either third-party commentary (clearly attributed) or factors to verify directly with PortPro's sales team — not a number we're asserting on PortPro's behalf.

Third-Party Commentary

What Third-Party Sources Say

We directly fetched three independent software-listing pages on August 17, 2026. All three agree on the same structure:

  • Capterra lists six plan tiers — Drayage Carrier (Base, Silver, Gold) and Drayage Broker (Base, Silver, Gold) — every one marked “Contact Vendor for Pricing.” Higher tiers add features like automated TIRs, per diem monitoring, and an embedded email inbox; no tier lists a number.
  • GetApp (page last updated July 2026, per its own timestamp) shows “No pricing info” with a “Get Price” button in place of a rate.
  • SoftwareAdvice lists the same six tiers with “Pricing available upon request” on every one, and notes that every tier includes “Unlimited Back Office Seats” — which at minimum tells us back-office headcount isn't the billing unit, whatever it turns out to be.

Search-engine result summaries for PortPro's G2 and TrustRadius listings describe a per-driver billing model, and that claim shows up elsewhere in this cluster. In the interest of full transparency here: when we tried to verify that wording ourselves by fetching g2.com/products/portpro/pricing and trustradius.com/products/portpro-drayos/pricing directly on August 17, 2026, both pages blocked automated access. We're not going to assert a per-driver structure as independently confirmed when we couldn't read the source ourselves — treat “per driver” as a plausible, commonly-repeated description rather than something we verified firsthand, and confirm the actual unit with PortPro directly (see the checklist below). Evaluation Factors — Not Confirmed Charges

Likely Cost Drivers to Ask About

None of the items below are confirmed PortPro line items — we have no published pricing to point to. They're the categories that typically move the total cost of carrier-scale operational software up or down, based on what PortPro's own pages and the third-party tier structure above suggest is relevant. Ask PortPro directly which of these actually apply and how.

  • Driver / seat count on the platform
  • Which tier (Base, Silver, or Gold) your feature needs require
  • Integrations needed (EDI, API, terminal portals, accounting, ELD)
  • Implementation and onboarding scope
  • Training for dispatchers and drivers
  • Support tier (standard vs. priority/24-7)
  • Historical data migration from your current system
  • Contract length and any early-termination terms

Sales-Call Checklist

Exact Questions to Ask PortPro Sales

Because nothing about PortPro's pricing is public, the only reliable source is a direct conversation. Bring this list and get answers in writing before you sign anything.

  1. 01Is pricing per driver, per truck, or per seat — and which one, exactly?
  2. 02What is included in the base tier, and what is billed as an add-on?
  3. 03Do Silver and Gold tiers cost a flat premium, or does that vary by fleet size?
  4. 04What does onboarding and implementation cost, and how long does it typically take end to end?
  5. 05Is there a setup or onboarding fee separate from the monthly/annual subscription?
  6. 06What does migrating our historical data from our current system cost, and who does that work?
  7. 07What support tier is included by default, and what does 24/7 or priority support cost on top?
  8. 08Is there a minimum contract term, and what are the cancellation terms?
  9. 09Does the price change if our driver count fluctuates seasonally?
  10. 10Can you provide two or three reference customers at a similar fleet size to ours?

Cost & Effort Tradeoffs

Replacing Your TMS vs. Adding an AI Operating Layer

Every line item in the worksheet above is really a question about one bigger decision: are you swapping your system of record, or adding a layer on top of the one you already have? These carry different cost shapes, independent of what either vendor eventually quotes you.

Replacing your TMS entirely — whether that means adopting PortPro or another full platform — means a real switching cost on top of the subscription: migrating historical loads and customer records, retraining dispatchers and drivers on a new interface, running old and new systems in parallel for a stretch, and committing to a new contract term. PortPro's own comparison page puts its EDI/API setup at roughly six weeks with a dedicated data expert — that's PortPro's claim about itself, not an independently verified benchmark, but it's a reasonable proxy for the order of magnitude of effort a full switch involves.

Adding an AI operating layer on top of your current TMS — including PortPro, if that's what you already run — is a different shape of cost. There's still integration work, but no system-of-record swap, no historical-data migration, and no dispatcher retraining on a brand-new primary interface. Doublefast is built to work this way: it can sit on top of an existing TMS (including PortPro) or, for carriers without a suitable TMS today, operate as the primary workspace instead. See can AI work alongside PortPro and PortPro + drayage automation for how that pairing works in practice, and Doublefast vs PortPro for a fuller side-by-side.

Neither path is universally cheaper — a carrier that has never had a real system of record may get more value from a full TMS switch than from layering automation onto spreadsheets and texts. And a carrier that's already happy with its TMS but drowning in manual coordination work may get more value from adding a layer than from a second migration. If you're weighing PortPro against other full platforms specifically, our PortPro alternatives page and best drayage TMS platforms guide cover that comparison directly.

One Production Deployment

What an AI Layer's Economics Looked Like at One Carrier

This is one specific carrier's results, not a guarantee, an industry average, or something true of “customers” in general — but it's the most concrete economics we can point to for the “add a layer” side of the tradeoff above. A 30-truck NY/NJ drayage carrier deployed Doublefast as an operating layer and, over the following months, grew from roughly 1,500 to 1,700 containers a month on the same 30 trucks — creating capacity for about 2,400 additional containers a year, or roughly $930,000 in annualized revenue capacity (Doublefast, internal deployment data). The same carrier's back-office headcount dropped from five people to two, a 60% reduction; demurrage and per diem charges fell from about $4,000 a month to zero in the most recent 30 days; invoicing moved from a 3-4 day lag after delivery to same-day; and three owner-operators who had left the carrier the quarter before deployment came back once dispatch consistency improved. Read the full carrier deployment case study for the complete numbers and methodology.
